Insights from EICMA: New Trends in Motorcycle Brake Systems and Selection of High-Performance Brake Hoses

Nov 16, 2025

The recently concluded EICMA (Milan International Two-Wheeler Exhibition) in Italy has illuminated the beacon of technological innovation for the global motorcycle industry. As an enterprise specializing in the foreign trade of motorcycle parts, we actively participated in this industry grand event, conducting in-depth exchanges with partners from core markets such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America. We clearly captured the core trend of brake systems moving towards "safety upgrading and performance optimization," and high-quality motorcycle brake lines are the key support for this trend.

At the exhibition, the display of brake technology confirmed the direction of industry transformation—intelligence and lightweight go hand in hand, putting forward higher requirements for the durability and anti-expansion performance of brake hoses. Our exhibited stainless steel brake lines, with the reinforced structure of 308 stainless steel braided layer, have almost no expansion under high pressure. Equipped with ptfe braided hoses with PTFE inner lining, the brake response speed is increased by 15%, becoming a highlight product at the exhibition. Compared with traditional rubber hoses, the steel braided brake line is not only resistant to high and low temperatures (-70℃ to 260℃) but also can resist brake fluid corrosion and road wear, perfectly adapting to various riding needs such as road and off-road.

In response to the strict E-mark certification requirements of the European market, our entire series of brake lines have passed the ECE R110 regulation test, with a pressure resistance of 4000psi. The joints have no corrosion after 24-hour salt spray test, ensuring compliance with the EU ECER90 mandatory standard. At the exhibition, many customers showed strong interest in our an3 brake hose. This product, specially designed for mid-to-high-end modified models, adopts a composite structure of PTFE inner core and stainless steel braided layer, balancing flexibility and stability, and is compatible with most motorcycle hydraulic brake systems.

This trip to Milan has allowed us to more accurately grasp the needs of global customers. Whether it is a professional racing modifier pursuing extreme performance or a civil vehicle supplier focusing on cost-effectiveness, they can find suitable solutions in our product matrix.
